Are you looking for a safe, fun English summer school in the UK for a child aged 5 to 10? Our Bristol Summer School for young learners is a day programme designed especially for children aged 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, combining playful English lessons, supervised activities and new friendships from around the world.
Children are grouped by a combination of age (for example 5–6, 7–8 and 9–10) and English level, so every child learns at the right pace.
Parents are welcome to join excursions with their child: £35 for a full-day excursion and £20 for a half-day excursion per person.
Mornings are for English: interactive lessons built around songs, stories, games and creative projects, so children learn naturally while having fun. With the course + activities option, afternoons are filled with supervised sports, games, creative workshops and group projects, plus organised local excursions suitable for young children.
Children are supervised throughout the day, during lessons, breaks, activities and excursions. Our teachers and activity staff are experienced in working with young learners, and our welfare team is on hand to support children who feel unwell or homesick. Parents can stay in contact with their children throughout the programme.
Bristol is a lively, family-friendly city with plenty to see and do, from the harbourside and museums to green parks. It is a great place for children to experience British culture while they learn.
