About the teacher role

EFL teachers deliver engaging English lessons that benefit learners inside and outside the classroom. ILC provides coursebooks and teachers' books as the foundation for lesson planning and teaching.

Responsibilities include

  • Teaching General English at all levels, exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge FCE, CAE and CPE) and Business English, in groups or one-to-one
  • Preparing student-focused, communicative lessons using the assigned coursebook, audio and other resources (about 60% coursebook and 40% other materials)
  • Monitoring and correcting students, and setting and marking homework regularly
  • Following the objectives of the course syllabus to improve students' language ability
  • Completing teaching administration on time, including class registers, record sheets, progress records, timesheets and academic reports
