Why Choose One-to-One English Language Course?

Students who want to learn English or improve their English language skills do not always have the time to take a full-time course. Others who are already studying may need some extra tutorials to help them with their progress. For these students we can provide one-to-one (1:1) tuition. Our teachers can focus on the areas that need improvement. As it is just you and your teacher, you can choose exactly what you want to concentrate on. This could be anything from intensive work on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, speaking or listening, to more specialized areas like business or social English or exam preparation. This also means your teacher can select and adapt materials that suit your learning needs and your style of learning.

This course is suitable for people in three types of situations. Firstly, people who need to improve on some skill like IELTS writing, Business English or Medical English. Secondly, for some students who don’t have time to join a longer course. Thirdly, it can be useful for students who are studying on a longer course but want some extra help to learn more quickly or to focus on another skill.

If you choose to learn with a friend or family member, we can also offer two-to-one (2:1) lessons. You will both need to be at the same level of English on the CEFR framework prior to enrolling on a 2:1 course.
