Activities Programme

Make friends and practise your English outside the classroom

Every week our team organises an activities programme for students. It is a relaxed way to meet people from around the world, explore the local area and use your English in real situations.

Activities take place in the afternoons and evenings, at the school or nearby. Many are free, and the ones outside the school cost only a small amount.

Free activities

Join as many as you like. They are included in your course.

Walking tours

Every Monday we start the week with a walking tour of the town, so new students quickly find their way around.

Speaking clubs

Relaxed conversation sessions where you can build confidence and practise everyday English.

Games, drama and sport

Quizzes, games, drama and sport on other days of the week, open to every level.

Evening events

Barbecues, discos, live music and salsa classes, plus Cultural Evenings where students share food, music and traditions from their countries.

Activities outside the school

Some activities take place in the town or nearby. These usually cost a small amount, and a member of our staff always meets you there.

  • Pay only for the activities you choose
  • A member of staff meets you at every activity
  • Bring your student ID card, as student prices are often cheaper

*Some activities, such as pub nights, are not suitable for students under 18. Minimum ages are always shown on the activity details. Prices are examples and may change.
