If you're studying at ILC Portsmouth in the summer, don't miss Victorious Festival on Southsea Common. Held by the sea, usually at the end of August, it has grown into one of the UK's biggest city music festivals since it began in 2011.

As well as live music, there's a huge choice of street food, comedy, family areas and activities, all with views of the sea.

The perfect location

Southsea Common is right on the seafront, easy to reach from the city centre. Between sets you can walk along the promenade, visit Southsea Castle or relax on the beach.
